Zebra and Pink

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my last post – I guess they’re not too bad. Here’s what I did once I removed the Jackson Pollock nails! I had the idea for this really clear in my head, but wasn’t sure how well it was going to translate to the nails.

I started with 2 coats of MaxFactor Disco Pink. Then I carefully painted one corner diagonally with Color Club Alabaster. Once that was dry, I stamped zebra print from Konad plate M57 onto just the white part using Color Club Dark Romance – this was the tricky bit, it wasn’t as easy as it looks! To seperate the two parts of the design, I used a thin nail art brush to paint a line of Color Club Smoke and Mirrors. A slick of Sally Hansen’s Teflon Tuff topcoat and I was done! I’m kinda pleased with this one. What do you think?

    These look amazing – I love the monochrome with the bright pink. You’re so talented at these designs, I wouldn’t even attempt something like this! x

    This is really cute I wonder if I can pull the zebra design off with free hand?

    @Fee: Thank you! Glad you like :)

    @Lily: Thank you so much :) means a lot when people admire my little hobby!

    @Lola: Thank you lovely! :)

    @Cat: Daww thank you! It’s just practice :)

    @Lipton Tee: Thanks :) yeah I see no reason why not, zebra print is easy as pie freehand! In fact now I think about it, it probably would have been easier freehand because I wouldn’t have had the difficult task of trying to line the Konad stamp up on the diagonal!
