So I went on another tiny splurge today. I feel really guilty for spending money I don’t have on eyeshadows because I know that my 120 pro palette is already in the post. Ohh I’m so excited about that but I’m not expecting it until Friday or Monday or something. Can’t WAIT to play with it. But despite knowing I’ve got 120 (apparently) fantastically pigmented pressed eyeshadows on their way to me I cannot resist Barry M Dazzle Dusts. They’re just so pretty! So about an hour ago I picked up these things.
Eeek I’m so excited to get home and play with them. Those pictures look kinda flat which is disappointing but the actual powders are so shiny in the pots :3! The pale silver didn’t look like much dry when I tested it on the back of my hand in Superdrug but I’ll bet it looks absolutely stunning applied wet. I’ll try it out when I get home and let you know. ^_^ I’ve got a white dress at home with green and pink and blue flowers on it and stuff, so I’ve devised my little eyeshadow plan.. pale silver applied wet over the shimmering eye and lip crayon as the base colour, fuschia applied dry in the outer corners and blended into the crease, and emerald applied wet on the lower lashline. I’ll let you know how it goes and probably take a couple of pictures.
As I say, I bought the black one but couldn’t find a decent picture of the black one on it’s own. I’ve also got the green one on the right at home. These are a little bit stickier than most liquid liners but once you get the hang of applying something so sticky I’ve found that I can get a much smoother line – in fact, I can do it all in one sweeping movement rather than in little strokes like I do with other liquid liners.
This is SO PRETTY. I’ve got it on now, it’s a lovely pale pink colour, kinda sheer, gorgeous and glittery without being overpowering (so it’s subtle enough for everyday), and it’s not at all sticky. It looks really good with Barry M Dazzle Dust in Midnight on the eyes. I think this might have just become my favourite lip gloss. ^_^
